Buyer made a purchase, I used the label from ebay. Buyer states item was delivered to wrong address. They are requesting ebay refund their money. What do I do? I have never had this happen. Ebay is saying they are going to refund them if I don't resolve it. How do I resolve it if it was beyond my control and I used an ebay generated label? This doesn't seem fair to me. Can anyone help? Ebay doesn't seem to have any kind of live help. Thank you in advance

You followed proper procedure in shipping to the address provided by Ebay.
Has the buyer filed a Refund Request? If so, respond to the request with the tracking number and tracking information.
According to Ebay: You’ll need to provide tracking within 3 business days of the request being opened, if you haven’t done so already. In order to be protected, tracking must be from one the shipping carriers integrated with eBay and must include the date you shipped the item, the date it was delivered, and the address it was delivered to.

OP2 years agoI did all of the above. Buyer even noted that tracking showed delivered. Not sure how they came up with the wrong address unless it was just because they didn't get it. I was able to figure out how to contact support on chat and it appears I have done what is needed. I just wish their support chat wasn't so hard to find. Thanks for the response.
