buyer left negative feedback as retaliation for not accepting returns. how convince ebay to remove?
buyer ordered.
buyer changed his mind asked for return.
I informed him there is no returns unless product is defective.
buyer left negative feedback, saying product was old.
buyer started claiming product was defective.
ebay forced me to accept return.
return arrived, I confirmed product was 100% functional.
I asked ebay to step In - was told 100 different things. everything from "nothing we can do" to "dont worry we'll take care of this"
100 emails later. ebay refunded buyer, and refunded seller. not sure how that makes any sense.
100 more emails later . im asking them to remove the negative feedback buyer left in retaliation for not accepting returns.
ebay says feedback can not be removed because no violations occurred . apparently lying to force returns is not a violation on the rules even though is the rules.
I will not accept the negative feedback, I will call email everyday until the fix it or until they ban me being annoying . anyone else had any luck forcing ebay to take action against unfair feedback?

Did you try the automated feedback removal system?
You can ask for the feedback to be removed here
https://www.ebay.com/sellerhelp/feedback
Here is the policy:
https://www.ebay.com/help/policies/feedback-policies/feedback-policy?id=4208
Look for a reason in the listed options that apply to the feedback and quote that policy in your removal request.
Perhaps
Since the buyer complained of no returns, but that was disclosed in the listing. And also the buyer complained of the age, but you described it as used, reclaimed.

When you get a return request, you should
- accept the return
- inspect the item
- if the buyer was abusing INAD returns, then
-- Report the buyer for abusing the return policy https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/resolving-buyer-issues/reporting-issue-buyer?id=4084
-- If you are able to deduct a % of the return as described here (look for the section "How to deduct from the buyer's refund when the item is returned in a different condition") https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/managing-returns-refunds/handle-return-request-seller?id=4115#partial
- Refund
Do not wait for eBay to force the refund because then you are out the money AND get a defect
