Hello,Buyer won the auction didn't pay he was confused didn't think he won, told him he did win shared a screen shot of the bids. Still no payment for 2 more days - I sent him an invoice and said if you don't pay I'm cancelling the transaction which I did and relisted. Next day he emailed explaining how mixed up he was and if I wanted to sell it he would go to his bank the next day (Sat) to secure funds. Added a Buy It Now for the exact amount he bid and told him great, thinking I was all set. N...

Buyers know they have to pay if they win. They receive a confirmation from eBay. They also receive a payment reminder from eBay. It's best not to send any additional messages about payment (especially threats) and to let eBay handle that communication.

I hope you cancelled the transaction on day 5 for non-payment so the buyer earned a strike on his account. After cancelling, it's a good idea to block the buyer so he can't mess with you again.

While you're on that page, scroll down to the bottom and make sure you have the option turned on to auto-block buyers with 2 or more unpaid items within 12 months to protect yourself from repeat offenders.

After 4 days, cancel the sale due to nonpayment, and then you can relist
