Buyer is using a feedback rating to force a return
I don’t accept returns as stated in my listings. I have a buyer that is threatening to give me negative feedback if I don’t accept a return. He wants to return shoes because they are not his size. Do I have any recourse as a seller?

The men size is 8. You don't have to accept the return. But, if your buyer ask eBay to step in (possible after 3 full business days) eBay might accept the return and take the money away from you.

OP2 years agoHi,
I have already declined the return and eBay closed the case. The issue is that the buyer is now trying to extort a return from me by threading the negative feedback.
I am questioning if a buyer can use a feedback rating as a means of getting their way? Should I reach out to eBay directly? Or am I just obligated to accept the negative feedback?

Buyers aren't allowed to use threats of negative feedback or low detailed seller ratings to try to get something that wasn't part of the original listing.
