Buyer is saying he did not receive his package but was received by shipping agent
Buyer has contacted me with the following message:
"Hello, hope all is well with you i never got the package ,But the post office is saying they dropped it off at my address im on vacation in colombia so i had the item shipped to my freight forwarder usps said they dropped it off at 8:49 PM while they were closed and my freight forwader says no one can get in when they are closed my questions is did you have some sort of insurance on the pack or can you reach out to ups and find out were it was shipped because im the reciever they are only willing to help me very little."
USPS label was created through Ebay, so the buyer is the one that filled in the address of this shipping agent. USPS says:
Your item has been delivered to an agent for final delivery in MIAMI, FL 33166 on November 27, 2023 at 8:49 pm.
I am not sure what to do here since it says delivered to the address he has requested. Is this now out of my hands? Do I wait until he creates a case against not receiving the package or is there something I can do. This seems like it is their issue to take up with their shipping company right?
