Buyer is requesting shipping charges to Slovania, but the shipping calculator just errors out
I have an item that the buyer is asking for shipping costs to Slovania where he is. I cannot get the shipping calculator to do anything. It just reports an error. eBay has absolutely no support on the error, and no way to contact them for assistance. I have tried contacting USPS for shipping costs - they cannot it out. I won't use UPS. Shippo reports almost $300 in cost estimates. What next?

OP1 month agoI doooon’t think that’s the problem - both sites only accept country selection by a list, not by spelling.

Mentor1 month ago · EditedI see your problem now. You have misspelled the country, it is "Slovenia", and both ebay and PirateShip ship USPS to that country.

Mentor1 month agoBest to only ship international using the Ebay International Shipping (EIS) program.
If you still want to ship direct make sure you use a trackable service.
Did you look directly on USPS.com for a cost? Or for the best discount look on PirateShip.com.

PirateShip would only quote UPS, and we WILL NOT SHIP UPS internationally after several incidents with them. the Customer asked me to get an eBay shipping amount, and although I have enabled international shipping on the item, I cannot get a shipping amount from eBay.
