Buyer is holding her purchase at the post office and won’t pick up. How can I get paid?
My payment is on hold due to buyer holding it at the post office.

Mentor11 months agoAs @comics-scifi-collectibles explained your funds are on hold due to being a new seller. However I see your issue because your item is delivered, just being held at the PO by the buyers request. They may very well be on vacation and away from home for a period of time. So they may not be available to pick up the item for a few days or a couple weeks. We can have mail held for up to 30 days.
I would encourage you to contact Ebay and explain to them the problem and see if you can shake that money lose. Good Luck !!!
On each Ebay page there is a link to contact Customer Service at the top of the page and again at the bottom of the page.
I would suggest that you contact Ebay for Business on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter for the better trained CSRs.

Your options will be on the left. If you use the link below you can only get to the Automated Assistant or Chat box type AGENT in the box and hit enter. You will then get more options. Not all options are available 24/7. It will depend on staffing available. So sometimes you can request a call back and sometimes you can't. Sometimes you have the Chat option available and other times it won't me. If it is important to you to use one of those options, just try back later.
If you use a cell phone or other mobile device, you may need to turn off your Spam filter so that Ebay can call you.
If you are a seller outside of the US or Canada, you will need to use the Chat Option.

Mentor11 months agoGo to your Seller Hub > Orders > Paid & shipped
Locate the transaction, click the CONTACT BUYER link and let the buyer know that the package has been delivered and is being held at the post office, and that his/her payment won't be released to you until s/he picks up the package.
If you are using the new messaging system, start typing where it says SEND MESSAGE. The area will enlarge as you type. When done typing, click on that "paper airplane" looking arrow on the right side to send the message.

As a fellow seller I understand that waiting for your payout is frustrating.
Fund holds are normal for new and returning sellers.
New or infrequent sellers will experience transaction holds while learning best selling practices. This helps sellers become established and build a strong selling history on eBay. New sellers typically experience holds for up to 30 days, although sometimes it may be longer
