buyer has no history
I have a vintage item for sale and someone has purchased this item. Transaction is on hold until they receive item. The buyer has no history and joined ebay the same day they purchased my item. This seems suspicious to me.

Hmmmm... Twenty two years ago, I joined eBay and made my first purchases that same day. Over 77,000 sales later, I'm still here.
Your funds are on hold because you are a new seller with no history - not because the buyer is new. eBay wants to ensure that you complete the sale as required and resolve any issues that might arise. It can take up to 31 days for your funds to be released. Learn about payment holds here:

OP5 months agoThank you for the quick response. I'm not a new seller. I have sold 23 items, but none recently. Maybe that's why?

eBay lumps infrequent and new sellers into one group. It looks like you haven't sold anything on eBay in over a year.
