Buyer got suspended for non-payment for an item they paid for
I cancelled a transaction for a sale I made as the buyer was not responding to my attempts to contact them. After the cancel, they did contact me and said they never got the mails. They still wanted the item, so I relisted it as a Buy-It-Now and they won and paid for it. However, they contacted me and said that it was reported to Ebay for nonpayment and they are currently suspended from bidding on certain items.
How can I let eBay know they DID buy this item, just not the auction that it was originally under? You think they would be smart enough to look at the item description and seller and see it was the same thing and put two and two togther.
Thanks for any advice you can give me.

Ebay would know that they paid for the relisted item.
If they are restricted from purchasing other items, maybe the buyer has 2 or more unpaid item strikes on their account.
