Buyer gives wrong address
I sent an item to a buyer, they then filed a dispute because they gave me an old address. I had to pay to ship the item, then to intercept and have the item returned. The money is now on hold and I have spent $34 total in shipping fees. They sent the correct address and stated they would pay the extra costs, but the money is still on hold from their bank. I have the item back but now they are not responding to my emails if they still want the item or if they will pay the extra fees. Should I ship the item back out or wait to hear from the buyer? Can I sell it to someone else or do I have to wait until their bank releases the money?

Wow, a Buyer's address is NOT your problem and paying the Intercept charge with the carrier is actually something the Buyer should owe you. But I doubt they would pay that plus it would all have to be done outside eBay.
You can refund them the item price LESS the original shipping they paid PLUS your out of pocket package Intercept cost and Relist the item for sale. If they want to correct their address and buy it again they can do so or you can just add them to your blocked list on this page: Buyer management | eBay
To send a partial refund use the drop down menu on the listing and scroll down to Send refund and click that. The refund process is 3-4 pages but fairly easy to use.
You can also use the Report Buyer link on the sold item if you want or perceive you may have issues with the customer.

OP8 months agoThank you for your feedback and suggestion. The buyer did finally respond stating they would pay back the fee and the new shipping cost. So I am resending to the correct address. I appreciate your help! Have a fabulous day!
