buyer fraud - buyer purchased boots - returned a box without the item she purchased - clear fraud

Buyer said heels were worn and sent me a msg that I was a fraud and wanted an immediate refund....I msgd - her to return the boots for a full refund - She contacted EBAY telling them I was a fraud - They opened a return A box from her was received today with 3 bottles of liquid (for weight) and plastic packing material. NO BOOTS.......I will not give her a refund. I tried calling and using AI chat....no number to speak to someone and the AI chat is ridiculous. Apparently it isn't advanced enough...

That is an old scam.

-Use the Report Buyer link on the sold transaction to alert eBay of an issue with that customer.

-If you do not refund her through the claim in 2 days from receipt of the item back she will ask eBay to step in. eBay will force you to pay the full refund and let the Buyer keep the boots.

-Some Seller protections may apply like withholding her original paid shipping and up to 50% of the item price ... Seller protections | eBay

Sadly, eBa never sees what Buyers do or what Seller receive on returns so they have to go by what they can see electronically. The Report Buyer step IS IMPORTANT.
