Buyer Feedback
eBay system currently requires sellers to disclose their personal purchases when selling items, which I believe compromises privacy. Personal purchases should remain private and not be publicly linked to seller accounts. As a seller, I should be able to share only my seller feedback and transactions related to my sales, without revealing personal items I've bought. Separating buyer and seller feedback will protect privacy while still maintaining the transparency needed for seller reputation.

If you're talking about on your feedback page, eBay does not divulge anybody's purchases. You can see your own because it's your own feedbacks and you're logged in. Look at somebody else's Feedback As Buyer and what you see is what yours looks like to everybody else ... or log out, and then look at your own.

eBay does separate under tabs Feedback As Buyer and Feedback As Seller ... however, I think maybe you mean something else. The best way to keep buyer and seller feedback completely separate is to have two separate accounts, one account only for selling, and the other account only for buying.

Mentor2 years agoYou're showing me you can see someone else's purchase. Yes, that was my recent. I'll bet that you didn't copy that from my feedback page, though. I'll bet that you had to sleuth down the feedback I left for the seller over on the seller's feedback page.
I was checking to see if eBay had a glitch that revealed the purchases on the buyer's page. They used to be shown there, you know. So that's why I was looking at your feedback left for others. Wow. What a sea of red. You've had some really bad luck with sellers ... or something.
