I have noticed that on the last couple of items I have purchased from sellers that my credit card is being charged for items, why?

-Hmmm, do you mean you want to use a different payment method? If so you have to:
-select the payment method at checkout
-if a Seller has Auto-pay turned on you have to select a payment method prior to bidding or using the Offer process. You have one hour after winning and auction of an accepted bid by either party to change the payment method or the original one will be charged.
-If it is an international purchase duties, tariffs, etc may be charged at the time of purchase.
-We have no account access here but you can check the transaction details in your Purchase history and any additional fees should be listed for you.

OP8 months agoI pay the invoice total with tax and shipping and then my credit card notifies me of the purchase and it`s been a couple of bucks more than the invoice.

Contact your credit card company and talk to them about that.
