buyer exclusions
My potential buyer tried to pay for a Buy-it-Now item and received a message "Seller does not ship to CA". She sent me the screen print. I have 0 domestic shipping exclusions, including California, nor did I enter a specific exclusion for this buyer or this location. My activity log shows no excluded transactions.
I've lost this buyer but any clue what caused her to be excluded? Her address was a PO Box but I've shipping to PO Boxes before. Any help would be appreciated. This was a $200 sale. Thanks.

I was able to add your items to my shopping cart and see shipping.
I suspect it was a problem on the buyer's end, not a problem on your end.

OP6 months agoDo you have any idea what the problem on the buyer's end could be? Short of that, is there anything I can do to resurrect the deal?

Mentor6 months agoI am located in CA, and when I look at your listings, they all show a shipping price. I suspect something is wrong at your buyer's end.

Mentor6 months agoYou can message the buyer and ask them to try again using a different browser or after clearing their cache.
I do think that if the buyer were a serious buyer, they would follow-up with you.
(It's possible that it was an overseas buyer who was hoping to run a scam)

OP6 months agoI intended for the wheelchair and keyboard to be listed as local pick up only.
The items the buyer planned to purchase were 127540976325 ($49.99), 127540975748 (49.99), 127540976743 ($44.99), 127540967273 ($25), and 127540973989 ($34.99). She asked to do combined shipping to which I agreed.

Mentor6 months ago@fabgnat I am not sure what the problem is. I checked all of the listings and like you said there is not any PO Box exclusions. I wonder if they were shipping to a freight forwarding company and it got blocked somehow.
Let me tag a fellow Mentor and see if the can take a look too. It might be awhile until they get back to us.

This usually happens if you did not specify the shipping costs on the listing correctly. For example you don't have shipping on the keyboard or wheelchair that sold. Those items should have been listed as local pick up not Freight... or if listing with freight you need to enter a freight cost after researching as it is VERY expensive.
