Buyer didn't pay, now no longer a registered user
Been more than 24 hrs with item not paid for. Went to buyer ID to message and ask when to expect payment. Buyer ID is "no longer a registered user". Can I just cancel the sale and relist now? Seems like a scammer. Especially considering they offered twice the listing price.

·2 years agoAs long as s/he hasn't paid yet, then it is safe to relist since a NARU'd buyer can't pay. eBay NARU'd the buyer most likely due to scammy activities.
Since s/he didn't pay you don't have to cancel to get a fee credit for Final Value Fees. If you had any optional insertion fees on the other hand you might want to wait out the 4 days and cancel then as you might get credit for those if the relisting sells. Why are you contacting a buyer asking when you can expect payment? That's a no no. Buyers have 4 days to pay unless immediate payment was required or eBay required a payment method before making an offer.
Since they're NARU go ahead and relist it. If you want payment faster than 4 days offer it buy now with immediate payment required.
