Buyer did not pick up their package and now wants a refund
I have a buyer who did not pick up their package after it was delivered to them a few times but they were never home to sign for it. The package was then delivered to their local post office. She emailed me and said she would go and pick it up but failed to do so. The package was then supposed to be delivered back to me however it never came. I need to find out where the package is. In the meantime, she is asking for a refund. I am happy to refund her the money however I do not have my item back. I have never been in this situation before so not sure what to do. Do I refund her the money plus the shipping fee when I do not have my item back along with shipping fees, and Ebay's listing fee? Thank you.

Mentor2 years agoYou can refund for item price only (not including the shipping cost she paid). Your fees for the refunded amount will be credited to you automatically.
Let the buyer know you will refund the purchase price when the package arrive back to you. (Keep an eye on tracking to watch the movement back to you. Returns tend to take the slow route back to you.)
