buyer did not pay
I am a seller, patcas-8809. I ran a 10 day auction that finished on Aug 29, 2024 Item ID: 387311114057
Winning bid Price $303.99. The buyer said he was NOT GOING TO PAY because, “I (He) made the bid with a 4% cash back offer from Capitol One. As of this morning when I planned to.pay off CC and make the purchase through their portal, the offer has disappeared. It was a 4% cash back offer that was active when I made the bid and has since disappeared. Since this offer amounts to 1+4$ I am pretty interested in making sure I get the cash back. This motioning the cash back offer disappeared from my Capitol one account(???) I called them.and they said they would not have anyone to talk to until.Tuesday about **bleep** is going on. I made the bid with offer in mind. Tried to pay for the item this a.m. and the offer was gone. If you want ,cancel my bid and give it to the other guy, because I an NOT going to pay for the item until after I speak to my CC company and find out **bleep** happened to the offer. Just letting g you know why I am delayed. If you need to cancel the bid, go ahead since I will.not be paying for it until the 3rd at the soonest

Mentor2 years agoI've had similar offers from various credit card companies, and one has to accept the offer before making any purchases.

The buyer's issue with the CapitalOne cash back is THEIR problem, not yours.
When the buyer does not pay, cancel the transaction after 4 days of non-payment have passed, specify "buyer didn't pay".
