The buyer is fishing for a partial refund. The way to call his bluff is to advise him to open a return. If this is the piece of stereo equipment, yes it will be expensive to have it shipped back, but that's only *if* the buyer actually decides to return it. The buyer probably wants to keep it.

As already advised, have the buyer file a Return request with a valid reason per the Ebay MBG for a full refund after you receive the returned item.

Mentor5 months agoIf buyer opens an item not described case not only will you be giving a full refund you will also be paying for the shipping label to get it back.
