Buyer could not clear customs
Hi there, I have a case where the buyer could not clear customs from an ebay managed international shipping. Looks like the amount of the purchase was too high and and needs to be broken down in couple smaller parcels to clear customs. The buyer requested DHL to return the box to the seller but they only information I can see in the order is that "order could not be delivered". It's been about 10 days now, the buyer is asking if I can re-send the order in smaller parcels but I still don't have the items back nor where they are. I believe we are missing a step, maybe the buyer needs to request a return, so ebay can initiate the process and start monitoring where the package is. Any help if someone had a similar situation would really help. Appreciate it. Thanks.

eBay will refund the buyer out of their pocket and you keep the $ from the sale. The items are not returned to you, eBay sells the items to a wholesaler to help cover the cost of the refund.
Did you try to combine more than one listing into an EIS shipment?
