Buyer claims that I shipped to wrong address. I used ebay's shipping service.

Question

The buyer insists that I shipped item to the wrong address. Buyer selected 1st label and they picked USPS GROUND $5.70 USD. Yes they picked ground delivery. USPS GROUND doesn't go to France. I upgraded to USPS PRIORITY padded envelope. Buyer wanted FedEx but buyer picked usps. I offered to refund money, I asked buyer to send me a label. I purchased a 3rd label for FedEx. ALL 3 LABELS had same address in the United States. Buyer insists that they have proof that item was for France.

There's a note in buyers account "DO NOT SHIP TO FRANCE"

Even after 3 days of emails going back and forth, buyer never once had any concerns about the address. Now after item was shipped there complaining about shipping address.

I am concerned that this is some kind of scam

@to_6076 Something does sound fishy with this buyer.

You should have just canceled the sale as problem with buyers address and refunded them when they started trying to get you to use a different shipping method.

As long as tracking shows delivery to the address provided at checkout the buyer will lose a not received refund request case.
