So I sold a Antique doll, it shipped exactly as pictured to buyer, complete description and pictures included in listing, both issues claimed can be proven otherwise by pictures, one she claims leg is off and was glued on but antique doll has odd metal clips through knee area ,she claims doesn't exist but both knees have the cut out area and can be seen together in picture, she says dolls eyes are fixed either open or closed when they should be opening and closing, 80 years old that actually would be bound to happen during shipping but regardless its not something I did wrong at all, I ask for pictures of everything including box to be sent to me here on eBay in messages, she claims to of sent to my email in which I found nothing yet, she said box is fine but like I said 80 years old ,something being jostled and tossed during shipping and what she describes could of indeed happened,by what she has said thus far I believe sounds possible she may be reluctant to have it filed as a postal claim ,and that its important to her to possibly lay it on me despite the impossibility, as she did claim despite me explaining to her it could of happened during shipment than said the box is fine. My personal take on it is she may very well of attempted to take the doll apart and what happened she accidentally did to it herself because in my listing I said the knees didn't bend and I didn't know if the doll was a walking doll and possibly the doll did something else ECT.I think she tried to make knees bend and probably took the wig off to dismantle her completely and get it walking( I never took wig off even for pictures),but obviously I'm not 100% on that(I have no pictures yet) , but how would the post office look at such a issue with it? It is very old and would indeed be something that very well may have happened in shipment and she should be thinking towards it being " postal shipment issue',as for the dolls description I didn't take it apart and look inside it as its impossible unless you dismantle it,nobody takes 80 year old dolls apart and looks inside them on here, but I did make it known that something was going on and I couldn't get her to walk. So even if she wants to say one thing is my fault it's not possible for both things, the dolls eyes are open and shut in various pictures, she says they are fixed and completely un-moving, in which if that's the case how did I get them open and shut with the wig on for pictures? Partial postal shipment issue? Its actually common for these dolls glass eyes to have issues from just age as their held on by a type of plaster of paris. So complicated.
