Buyer claims non- receive an item despite USPS Delivery confirmation
Hello, I’m reaching out for help regarding an order where the buyer is claiming they haven’t received the item, even though USPS tracking shows it was delivered.
• I used the eBay-generated shipping label, which pulled the buyer’s address directly from their checkout information.
• USPS tracking shows the item was delivered to an individual on October 21st at 12:27pm, with the status “Delivered to Agent.â€
• The buyer says their "courier" hasn’t received it and is requesting signed proof of delivery, which USPS does not provide for standard shipments.
I’d like to document this with eBay in case the buyer escalates or opens a claim but I've found no way to do it. Please let me know how to handle this with Ebay
Thank you!

Mentor10 months agoIt sounds like the buyer is actually an International buyer and is using a freight forwarder. If the USPS tracking shows delivery then the item is considered as delivered unless the buyer can prove you shipped to an address different from what they entered on payment. If the buyer opened an "Item not received" case then just respond with the tracking number and call eBay customer service and ask them to manually check the tracking and close the case in your favor.
You can contact customer service using this link to bypass the AI questions and ask for a call back: eBay Customer Service Customer service is open from 5am to 9pm Pacific Time.
