Buyer claims item not received
Hello
I sold an item and the buyer is claiming it has seen sent to the wrong apartment complex. However via tracking it says the item was received.
What is my next step? Just wait for eBay to get involved?

How did the buyer "know" where the item was delivered, or misdelivered? This could be an attempt to flimflam a newbie. Has the buyer opened a formal Item Not Received dispute? If so, then click into the dispute and provide the tracking number that shows delivery. I recommend that you copy & paste, so you don't make a mistake trying to type it in.
If the buyer has just messaged you to that effect, tell them that eBay automatically addressed the shipping label to the address that he (the buyer) provided to eBay, and that he'd better check and correct that before his next purchase.

If you mailed it to the address provided by eBay:
I would be empathetic to the buyer.
Tell them USPS has GPS location for all Ground Advantage and Priority Mail delivery
The buyer can ask the Post Office/shipper to review the GPS on the delivery, retrieve the item from the wrong house, and deliver it to you. (You can contact the PO too, but I rarely do)
If the buyer opens an Item Not Received Case, upload the tracking number to the case. It will close in your favor.
