Buyer claiming packaging shortcomings caused damaged to a trading card. Options?

·3 years agoIt doesn't matter whether damage was due to "packaging shortcomings" or not. You are financially responsible for any damage in transit from any source.

OP3 years agoThe card wasn't damaged at all. It was all a complete lie by the buyer. I won my appeal and ebay returned the money to me that they refunded to the lying buyer. And then sold the card again. My packing jobs have been rightfully called excessive, fort knox like, insane, and the best ever (multiple times) but never never ever inadequate and they won't ever.

OP3 years agoThanks. Pretty much exactly what I thought. I already sent a return label because I won't pay that buyer 1 cent voluntarily so a partial refund that I agree to is out of the question. I also would never report a buyer without proof. I'll call him a liar in what he claims but that is as far as I am going. I appreciate the quick response and will answer my own question that I was 99.9% sure of anyway. And that is that no it all will make no difference.
