Buyer Claiming 2 of 12 Batteries Were Different — Need Advice
Hi everyone,
I’m dealing with a situation and need advice.
I sold and shipped 12 Forge batteries — 6 were packed in a box and 6 were wrapped in bubble wrap. I personally verified and double-checked everything before shipping. Now the buyer claims that 2 of the 12 batteries are HD.12.
All 12 batteries I shipped were the correct Forge models as described in the listing. The buyer’s claim is not true, and I’m starting to feel this may be a scam attempt.
There was no package damage, and the shipping weight matches the full order. I also have documentation of what was packed.
What should I do next to protect myself? Should I contact eBay directly, or wait for the buyer to escalate?

Mentor1 year agoIf the buyer files a Returns Request for Item Not as Described, you will have to accept the return. If you want the item back, you will need to issue a prepaid shipping label or refund the buyer and not get the item back. If you refuse either option, ebay can refund the buyer and not require the item to be sent back. You will not get the FVF credited and a defect will be recorded on your account for an unresolved transaction.
