Buyer claimed item was a fake asked for refund, made a deal buyer returns the item for refund.
EBay had my funds on hold so I refund the money to the buyer and still no item returned. it wasn't a fake just some type of scam,

Mentor2 years agoIf the buyer filed a Returns Request, and you agreed to accept the return, you do not refund the buyer until the item is returned. If you refund first, the buyer is under no obligation to return the item. What you can do now is use the Contact buyer link and ask the buyer nicely, to please return the item.

OP2 years agoYes, I understand that but again eBay gets half involved by holding my funds until I refund the buyer. I gave the buyer the benefit of the doubt and refunded the money so I could free up my account payments. 1st the buyer made a false claim the coin was only .725% silver and wouldn't ping and register correctly with the App. and Pinger he was using. My loss I'll never do that one again because the honest thief will always do the steal.
