Buyer chose local pickup
My buyer chose local pickup for a set of very heavy glass dishes. We have sent 8 emails with no response from them. We have also done the chat on ebay. We have a one day shipping promise. This means today. What do we do if all of these efforts have revealed no results? Thanks very much in advance for your help!

Local Pickup does not need to adhere to your "one day shipping" promise. In general, it may take the buyer up to a week to find time to pick up the item. If you do not hear back from the buyer in a week, then cancel the sale for "problem with buyer address". Most likely, the buyer had not noticed the item was pickup-only when seeing "free" in the shipping field.

-Local pick up does not use the Handling time setting. I often set up the meeting days after my Handling time, never received any defects
-The Buyer may or may not follow through.
-If it was the Vintage GLCOLOC FRANCE CLEAR CHRISTMAS Tree Holly Berry PLATES 11" Set of 8 sold on December 16th (Saturday) they may be away with no access to the internet or their account.
-You did not mention if they paid or not, did you have it set up to accept cash at pick up or did they pay? If they paid just wait, they have plenty of messages from you.
-Since it is a Local Pick up transaction you can exchange phone numbers too in order to facilitate day, time and meeting location.
