Buyer cancelled transaction after I shipped
Buyer cancelled the purchase after it was shipped and I want my item back..:don’t want them to have it for free that’s not fair at all …. I can’t figure out how to contact eBay?! I messaged buyer but they are not responding.is there a phone number for eBay ?

·3 years agoA buyer cannot cancel a transaction without the seller's taking action to actually do the cancellation (or if requested within 1 hour the seller has 3 days to reject the cancellation).
So either don't cancel the transaction or reject it within the 3 days if the buyer used the 1 hour window method. If you don't agree please give us more information (especially a screenshot of any message about the cancellation from eBay with the buyer's ID covered over) so we can see what is really going on.

OP3 years agoThanks for the reply! Unfortunately the buyer opened up a complaint w eBay? And eBay said I was not a fault but the buyer is getting a refund. Even though I already shipped the item! 😞

·3 years agoeBay will occasional give "courtesy refunds" to buyers who don't deserve one. This does not affect the seller in any way (the money comes from eBay, not the seller).

If they did, did you respond to the case and upload the tracking number?
What does tracking show?
If it's passed the estimated delivery date and they haven't received it, they can file for a refund.
