Buyer Cancelled Return now asking me to send return label
I have a buyer who says she accidentally cancelled a return request. She is still wanting to return the item (which I am fine with) but wants me to send her a return shipping label. I want her to pay for the return shipping label. How do I go about doing this? I can't through the return because it says "Case Closed". How do I send her a return shipping label?

OP1 year agoIt doesn't fit. It was a NWT item, so nothing wrong with the item. I want her to pay for the label. Thought maybe I could just deduct the label cost from her refund. But I don't want to purchase a label and then never have her return it and then be out of the cost of the label. I just want to handle this the correct way. I don't want her to give me a bad rating, but I do not know how to handle the situation.

Mentor1 year agoIf buyer bought the wrong size, the buyer pays for the return and you even can deduct the original shipping costs you paid to ship to them. So just tell buyer to return the item, as they will not be able to open another return on ebay. Or suggest they resell it on ebay.
Note that buyer may still lie about the return reason and open a case through the payment processor.

Mentor1 year agoYes, but did she tell them she cancelled the return? If so then rep should have known seller can not send a label through ebay.
Why is she returning the item? That should be the reason whether to supply her one at your expense.

Mentor1 year agoIf buyer cancelled the return, as you found out you can no longer issue a label. Just tell the buyer that and let the buyer return it at their expense.
