ebay buyers lie and take money without returning the purchased item. ebay intervenes and the buyer is given money. because of this, the sellers incur huge losses.

The correct steps to take are to accept the return, wait for the item to arrive back, THEN refund. If you refund first, the buyer is not obligated to re turn the item.
