Buyer asking to send iPhone IMEI # before shipping
I just sold a near mint condition iPhone 13 Pro to a buyer. The buyer paid for the phone, and is now insistent that I send him the IMEI number so that he can run it through a third-party program to validate if the phone is unlocked. I did not feel comfortable. To alleviate the buyers concerns, I spoke with Apple and my carrier who walked me through how to validate this in the settings. I took a screenshot and sent this to the buyer. The buyer is still insisting that I plug this number into a third-party program. The buyer is harassing me to do so and asked that I do not ship it until I send it. What should I do?

Mentor2 years ago@dvagnini Tell him once he has the phone he can check it and that all sales on eBay are covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
OR if he prefers you can cancel the sale as buyer requested and refund him and block him. ( don't tell him you're blocking, just do it)
