Buyer asking for return
Sold an authentic soccer jersey to the buyer. Today buyer sent back he received jersey and it is fake. I know this is not true as it comes with authenticity from Nike and I’ve sold many of these. They are irate in there messages and throwing accusations out trying to intimidate me with negative feedback. He is also telling me I have to pay for shipping back. This was sent overseas so shipping was expensive. I do have no returns on my listing but offered to return as long as they paid shipping. Buyer said no. What can I do? Also does it matter this is there first eBay buying. Just worried I’m being scammed.

Ask the buyer to open a return request. Be as nice as you can, tell him you are sorry that he is not happy with his purchase, you will refund upon receipt of his return.
If sent to an international buyer through the eBay international shipping program, eBay will handle the return and the return shipping.
If delivered to a US address, such as a freight forwarder, you are only responsible for the shipping from the delivery location. The buyer would have to work with the forwarder to get the item to them and then have the forwarder ship to you, which is not likely to happen. If he is able to send this way and what you receive is not what you sent, contact customer service. They should close the return in your favor, since using a freight forwarder voids the money back guarantee.
If he says something that is obvious extortion, like refund me or I will leave negative feedback, you can easily have the feedback removed.
