Buyer asking for partial refund
I sold a fancy antique gold plated chain with locket. As far as I know, the locket and chain were intact, no visible damage. The buyer says the locket was separated and the links on the chain need repair. He wants a $110 refund to cover what he says are needed repairs. I opened the locket twice to take photos and it was sound. I saw no damaged links. I wrapped it in bubble wrap and mailed it in a box. He did not report any damage to the package. I feel as if the item was sound, as shown in several photos. What do I do?

You could invite the buyer to return the item for a full refund or you could request photos of the damage he is describing and then if you think it's warranted, provide the partial refund.
Considering you started the bidding at $4.99 (which was the least you would have been happy with if you received just one bid) and you sold the item for $1,055.00, the partial refund doesn't sound so bad...
