buyer asked to delay shipping

What do I need to do if a buyer asked to delay shipping? I don't want to get pinged since I have a 2-day handling time on my listings.

I would politely tell them that eBay requires you to ship within your handling time, but that if they do not expect to be available when it is expected to be delivered, they should place a hold on their mail with the USPS or whichever carrier you will be using.
