Buyer asked for cancellation after package was dropped at post office.
I dropped off a signed nfl helmet for the buyer on December 31st. I went into the post office because I noticed the packages had not moved since I dropped it off. The buyer after being told I filed a claim wanted to cancel. I respected his wishes and cancelled. Now USPS got back to me and the package is no on to tue next location for delivery. How can I get the product back after refunding the buyer?

You can try a package intercept which costs money and isn't guaranteed.

While I always cancel if I have the package in my hands, don't cancel when USPS has it. They can't generally hand it back to you. Plus you are out the postage now.
If the intercept doesn't work, ask your buyer to refuse the package and return to sender.
Or send the buyer a label to return it to you.

If the buyer asks to cancel and you refunded, and tracking shows it is later delivered, I am not sure if that scenario falls under ebay refunding you, as the small details were never described.
