Buyer asked for a different Shipping address then they have loaded in their account.
Had a buyer message asking why shipping was taking so long. Checked Tracking and it shows its still on route, but Now they are saying it was supposed to be shipped to Purto Rico instead of the address they have on their account for ebay to do the shipping labels for us.
Not sure what will happen, but am I correct in we are not supposed to change the address if asked?

You are correct, Sellers ship to the address provided when the order is placed. If they ship to an address messaged to them they will lose their Seller protection.
Message that customer and let them those are eBays rules for Sellers. If they are using a US based forwarding company but the package gets returned to you then you will refund the item price but not the original shipping because that money was spent on the round trip shipment.
You can then Relist the item and if they correct their account address and consider purchasing it again ... or you can just add them to your blocked list on this page and be done with them. Buyer management | eBay
