Buyer agreed to extra postage but has not paid

I listed an item and said in the listing that extra postage would be required, buyer should contact me after winning the bid. Buyer agreed to extra postage in messaging but has not paid, so I haven't shipped the item. What should I do?

That is not how eBay works for Buy it now items OR an auction that is paid for or an accepted offer by either party is paid for. There are no provisions to go back for more money.

If you have an Unpaid Auction or Offer you can go to the item in your Awaiting payment file and Send an invoice changing the shipping cost.

You need to accurately set up your listings from the outset so customer see the correct amount of shipping they will owe you to purchase a label for the package. If you get the label through eBay it will be discounted on every service except Media Mail. If you make mistakes on shipping then YOU eat the cost then figure out what you did wrong and correct the mistake for the future.

Just writing something in the listing does NOT override how eBay's system works.
