Buyer admits he didn't read my description stating item DOES NOT work and now wants to return it
In my product description I clearly stated that I don't think it works so I can't guarantee it does. Buyer admits he did not read my description and now wants to return it because it, as I stated, doesn't work properly. I don't do returns but in this case I told the buyer I would take it back but he doesn't want to pay for any shipping costs.
Why should I be responsible for the buyer's neglect and lack of due deligence for not reading my product description before electing to purchase it
What recourse do I have? Thanks

Your No returns policy is VERY limited. If the Buyer files a return claim and selects the reason that "They changes their mind" you can decline the return. If they select a number of other reasons eBay will issue them a pre-paid return label which you will be charged for and you will have to refund within 2 days when you get the item back. Regardless of what they said in messages they can still file a false claim and force you to pay for return shipping.
You should have put Not Working in the title or Parts Only or For Restoration, etc. PLUS had that in your Condition section AND Description.
