Buyer abusing returns policy
Hi
please can someone tell me how I contact ebay customer service by phone or email?
i sold a pair of genuine Christian Louboutin shoes for £230 and the buyer has requested a return.
I am very disappointed and upset thar ebay accepted a return.
I am a trustworthy seller with over 1000 sales and feedback rating of 100%
The buyer has a handful of sales and only 87% rating.
I have a no returns policy. However the buyer is abusing the returns policy.
The buyer is saying the shoes are not as described so she is worried they are fake. I myself opened a case with ebay about this as the shoes are exactly as I described and pictured and 100% genuine. I do not own or sell fakes. I have not had a response from ebay.
The buyer received the shoes at 1130am on a Saturday morning and requested the return well after midnight. My guess is she worn the shoes for night out but found them too high or uncomfortable.
She already has a feedback rating saying she has lied about a product.
She says the shoes sole has been painted. I took pics and video before sending which shows they had not.
What if I receive them back and they have been tampered with by the buyer?
Also i have to pay the return costs of £12.95 and she will be refunded the original postage so I will be out of pocket over £25.00. This really isn't right or fair.
Where is the protection for the seller please? I have been a loyal and honest customer of ebay for many years and this situation is making me upset.
I tried to purchase a label from Royal Mail website yesterday as I need to send special delivery for insurance purposes, but I cant without buyer name and address. I have asked for this but what if she does not provide it? I am worried as it says if I don't arrange in 4 days from request that she will be allowed to keep the shoes and the refund still be processed.
Also what if I send the label and she claims she cant print it or has trouble with that one? Will she be refunded without returning? Surely this cannot happen?
Can you also tell me how ebay takes the refund from me as I had to use the money for car repairs so need to know if ebay automatically take it from paypal or my bank card as i will need to arrange an overdraft to cover it as i don't currently have the funds and don't want to incur bank charges.
I would appreciate if you can please give me advice on how to escalate this matter to a customer service manager as I really think it is wrong that a decent seller should be penalised over a corrupt and dishonest buyer and I never had a response from the case I opened to say she was abusing the ebay returns policy.
