Buyer abused USPS Return to Sender instead of paying for return label.
I had a buyer make a low counter offer but I accepted it.
I sent the item out the next day (2nd) and the buyer filed a return on the 5th. According to tracking, the item was still in transit and has been until today (14th) where it appeared back in my state of residence so I am assuming they have either rejected the package and used "Return to Sender" to return the package versus using a return label. (I do not offer free returns.)
I also reached out to the buyer three times but they never replied.
I spoke with eBay's customer service about the buyer using "Return to Sender" and was told that it is against eBay's policy.
I also looked it up on USPS and saw where I could be charged for the return shipping! The return shipping would be more than the refund would be!
Any suggestions on what I should do?

Mentor4 months agoYou would only be charged for the return shipping by USPS for media mail if that is how the item was shipped. Other services include free return shipping for "Return to Sender." The buyer loses his/her ebay Money Back Guarantee for using Return to Sender, but most sellers would refund item price only if the item is returned in the same condition as it was sent. I'd also add that buyer's user ID to your Blocked Buyers List.
