Buyer’s request on the Chanel bag purchase.
eBay Customer Service team,
I received a message from the buyer who purchased my Chanel bag earlier today. (Order#: 25-12912-51558) Due to time constraints, the buyer has requested If I can send the item directly to him, bypassing the Authenticity Guarantee process.
I informed him that I understand this process is mandatory for eligible items, but I wanted to double-check and confirm whether any exceptions or waivers exist—particularly in cases where the item has already been authenticated by a reputable third-party service prior to listing.
I appreciate your guidance and look forward to your response.
Thank you for your time and support.
Best regards,
Jane

Mentor1 year agoDo not do this.
Send it only to the authenticator.
You cannot get a waiver and the buyer cannot request it to be shipped anywhere else.
Tell the buyer that the listing was clear and the item will go to the authenticator first.

Please let the Buyer know that you are required to send it to the Authenticator for both of you to be protected by eBay.
PS: this is a very common request.
