Buy says item is not as described
He contacts me through messaging on ebay showing me pictures of the lego minifigure with the leg off.. Which doesn't mean it's broken. He even stated he played around with it and it came loose.. They even sell legs individually. So I know it's just part of the leg assembly... Instf talking through messaging, I contacted him through his phone number.. At first he was very agitated. But I listened to him.. You know they think they know best.. Like, I have more legos than you. He's saying I know what i'm talking about. Im Trying to deescalate.. Because I literally feel like a hostage.Because he hasn't left me feedback yet.. And I have one hundred percent perfect feedback for the past 25 years... So I tell him i'll accept a return... Then, he says, I don't trust you. I don't want to return it.I'll never see my money, blah, blah blah... Was that a red flag right? There should I have contacted ebay about it?I don't know.. So I asked him, what will it take to resolve the issue.. he's like you.Give me 30 dollars back. And I'll give you a perfect feedback... My sale was over a hundred dollars 118 ish.. So I agree and return his money.I paid 25 the rest is covered by ebay fees. And all whatever .. To have the item shipped back to me.And all the stress involved, it wasn't worth getting uptight about.. I also put a block on him. After the feedback was left... Did I do the right thing? The way I handled things I'm looking for some answers here from the community. More than likely this guy's gonna do it again. Because the item I sold him was perfect. It was brand new never even touched it
Is it possible it got loose?Yes, but its legos, it's supposed to be, you can disassemble it... More than likely if the guy send it back to me
There was nothing wrong with the legs. And he possibly would have destroyed him before he shipped back to me. The whole time I feel like I'm under pressure. Because I have a very good feedback and I'm a power seller
Ebay needs to find a way to deal with things like this better..

Unfortunately, all you can do is move on. It's good you added them to your blocked list.
You should Accept returns opposed to the using eBay's Default No returns accepted policy. Buyers can force you to pay for a return shipping label, they have numerous reasons to bypass that no returns policy. Some Buyers may not think they have an recourse on an item if they don't think they can return it.
It sends the wrong message to Buyers and you might be missing sales because inexperienced Buyers may pass you by with the No returns policy. You might be able to take advantage of Seller protections on a bogus return: Seller protections | eBay
I am sure most Sellers have had difficult Buyers trying to angle to get money knocked off an item of scam a Seller out of their item, we've experienced that too.
