Buy it now procedure.
I had an item with a bid price of $35.08 and NO buy it now price. A person asked me if I would accept a $20 offer. I agreed and had to lower my bid price to $15.38 to comply with Ebay's policy of 30% higher on Buy it Now prices. The person entered a bid at the lower $15.38 price rather than honoring what was agreed to. What can I do?

Mentor2 years agoAll the buyer could do was make a bid. To raise the bid to that price, someone else would have to be bidding as well. Sorry you aren't happy, but this is the way bids work. You have to honor the bid, Next time, end the listing (if there are no bids), make it a fixed price listing, and then have the buyer purchase the item.
