Bullion return policies
Does eBay take into account the market price of bullion when a return is initiated? I sold a 5 troy ounce silver round, .888 Fine silver and the spot price was over $95.00. If the spot price is lower when it is returned, is that taken into account? I'm just curious and hope I don't actually need this information but it should be a matter of policy with eBay since the value is variable.

Mentor8 months agoSorry no. Buyers are entitled to a full refund of the amount that they paid for the item.

OP8 months agoSo if the spot price drops by 50% in the coming days, I'm stuck buying back my my bullion for twice the going rate? That is absolutely not the way the market works.
