Bulk Shipping Mistake?
Summary: lufi_5052, a new eBay seller, mistakenly applied tracking to only one of five items shipped together, resulting in a funds hold. They later added the tracking retroactively, but the items still show as "Awaiting Delivery." eastlaneave advised that funds will be released eventually, even without tracking or feedback, and offered tips for combining shipments using eBay's bulk shipping tool for future transactions.
Hello, first time eBay seller here. A buyer purchased 5 items from me. I boxed them as one and shipped at the post office. After that, I attached the tracking to one of the items and issued the shipping cost refund fully through that item. Looks like this:

Item #4 (added tracking, refunded $11 here for shipping fees)

I did NOT add the tracking to the other four items at time of shipping. The box has now been delivered to buyer. Item 4, obviously, is marked as delivered and my funds are listed as "On Hold - available Sept. 5." The other items are listed as "Funds On Hold - Awaiting Delivery." Realizing my mistake, I retroactively added the tracking number to the other items. However, they are still listed as "Awaiting Delivery."
Did I screw myself here? Is there something I can ask they buyer to do on his end to indicate they have been delivered? Or is there a fix I can do? Thanks for helping me, a total idiot.

In addition to what @eastlaneave has provided you want to keep an eye on your Seller Dashboard. You may receive 4 defects for not getting tracking validated and uploaded on those transactions. Since you are not a Top Rated Seller those defects will not roll off your account for 12 months. It "could" have a negative impact on your Seller level.

✓ Your money will be released eventually, 30-60 days, even without tracking or feedback.
For the Future
- If the buyer pays for more than 1 item separately, you can combine the orders before selecting a label using the "bulk shipping" tool on the browser.
Put a check mark to the left of your items on this page

Select "Shipping" above
On the next screen it will ask if you want to 'combine' the orders. Check that box.
Enter the weight and dimensions for the package and print your label.
