Brushing Scam?

Hello, I recently received an unsolicited item from a seller. I believe this is a brushing scam and I am trying to determine how I should proceed with informing eBay. Thank you.

Unless you have an outstanding order, you are not the one being scammed. There is probably not much you can do directly, and there is probably not an easy way to connect the tracking number you received to an eBay order unless you placed the order.

I do not know if contacting eBay will help; it is unlikely that the customer service reps you can reach via phone call will know about brushing scams.

You might try reaching out to eBay via social media direct message; the folks who respond via social media seem to have greater experience and authority than the phone reps from what I have heard.
