browse function
The browse function (sometimes) does not include "highest price" as an organizing principle. Please change it back. This was very useful in deciding what to buy.

As a workaround, try searching using a keyword instead of browsing. If you are not sure what keyword to use, use the category name as your search keyword. When searching that way, you should see additional filter options not always available when browsing.
Use the "Tell us what you think" or "comment"/"feedback"/"?" links to provide feedback to eBay page developers about how the search or category browsing pages work.
