Stuff happens, but you have the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
Feedback is the last detail in a transaction. How a seller reacts when informed of an issue, tells a lot about them.
Again, stuff happens. It would be fair to talk to the seller before blasting negative feedback.
Buyers can’t get negative feedback. The feedback they leave for sellers often shows the real buyer. You’re 2/2… not good.

Mentor1 year agoGo to your Purchase history, locate the order, and click CONTACT SELLER. Include photos of the damaged item, the shipping label, the outer box, the inner packaging, and then set that all aside in case the carrier wants to inspect it. Now go back to the Purchase history and click RETURN THIS ITEM because it is damaged. The seller needs to refund your full payment. Now the seller needs to file an insurance claim with the carrier, uploading the photos.
You have up to 30 days from receipt of the item. Select a reason. For Not as Described, you will need to click on More actions. The seller will have 3 days to reply. If no reply, then click the link to Ask ebay to step in. If the seller wants the item back, print out the label, affix it to the box, and make sure the carrier scans the label. Once tracking shows DELIVERED back to the seller, s/he has 2 days to refund you. If no refund, go back to the case and click Ask ebay to step in, to force the refund. If the seller does not want the item back, he can just send a full refund and then deal with the carrier regarding an insurance claim.
