Broken dishes.
What can I expect if all three dishes that I bought arrived broken in pieces? How is this handled? Is it up to each individual seller? Please advise. Thanks

Mentor2 years ago@bdmung3. Yes it's up to the seller to refund you. You just need to file a refund request for item not as described > arrived damaged. The seller most likely will choose the option to issue a refund without requiring a return.
You are covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
You have 30 days from date of delivery to file an item not as described refund request on eBay.
Select the return item button on this page: https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/returns-refunds/returning-item?id=4041
4 business days after filing the return request if the seller has not provided a return shipping label OR sent the funds to your PayPal account to pay return shipping if they are in another country then ask eBay to step in and help:

If you have to purchase a label at the post office with the funds that the seller provided be sure to upload the tracking number into the case. The tracking number is your proof of delivery.
Returns to countries that do not have 1st class delivery confirmation MUST be shipped Priority Mail.
See this link to the USPS website that shows which countries have delivery confirmation for 1st class international packages.
