Brand New and Instantly Suspended
I literally just created this account because I saw an item on Google that was sold on ebay. Went looking for it. Seller is away until the 24th of January 2026 it said. So I added item to my watch list for when they came back. Suddenly, im receiving emails from ebay saying my account has been suspended and that I've violated some kind of term. What did I violate? Im not a robot. Customer Service is horrible too.

We would need to know the exact wording of the message you received. Did you add the item to the Cart, or to the Watch list? At any point did you click on Commit to buy, or Buy it Now?
As you wrote you just created this account and tried to buy something the same day which is a national holiday, so maybe your payment method couldn't be verified. Did you fill in all of the financial information that is required?
If the item you tried to buy is an expensive one, you might not be able to buy it because all New buyers have a limit on how much they can spend and/or on how many items they can buy at one time. The link below explains the limits.

OP8 months agoAll I did was add the item to my watch list because it wouldn't let me add to cart until the seller came back. Didn't try buying anything. Item didn't cost more then 12 bucks rounded up. Wish I could upload screenshots so I could show you.
